no shower, no milk, no salad dressing, no problem

I am alive and well. Yesterday was really hard because all I wanted to do was sleep. I could not sleep on the plane. When I got to Delhi, I could not find Amanda. She assumed that I was not able to make the flight because I did not have am visa, so she was a little of a surprise when I saw her. We than waited until her sister and husband came with their two kids, Emma (3) and Clay(5). We waited there at the airport until 5:30 and took a 6 hour train ride and a hour car ride to get to the school. All the kids were running around, being shy, and swinging from the trees. It was crazy!! I feel like I am going to be working with the lost boys. All they do is run around and there is no one to tell them what to do. After they showed me around I crashed. Today we had church and we all got unpacked. I am living with a girl named Cat, there are two girls from Germany, and than Amanda. It was not at all what I expected. We all have rooms and there is a little kitchen. The boys all live in little houses according to their ages. We live on a farm, but I thought there was going to be a big red barn, no barn, just a lot of fields. I feel like I am in the jungle. It is really warm and the sun is shining which is a blessing compared to the snow in Chicago. There is a huge chicken farm next door , so they "no" to my chicken idea, but I found a cute cat. I boys always will get her for me. Well I better go, I will send pictures. There is no way to explain this place, you just have to see it.

Pray that I am able to remember their names. I have already fallen in love with them!!

Kel, I am glad to hear that you got there (whew!) and am safe and sound. ya know...nothing ever is what we think of in our minds, but it always works out and it sounds like you are going to have a blast there already! (hello kitty). That's cool that you have your own room too, that will help process things. I will tell everyone how you are doing, can't wait to see the pictures! let jet lag set in the first couple of days, cause it will hit you like a ton of brinks. Miss you already, dangit! love, Di
